Celebrate International Polar Bear Day at the Zoo!
Learn all about polar bears and take part in hands-on activities. Plus, admission for adults and seniors is discounted to $14 and children ages 4 and under are FREE!
Activities will take place in Gateway to the Arctic from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm:
Zoo Chat: Learn about the polar bears at the Zoo from one of the animal care professionals that knows them best. The Zoo Chat will take place at 1:30 pm.
Enrichment Station: See and feel examples of items that are used for polar bear enrichment here at the Zoo and learn about the importance of enrichment programs.
Research Station: At this interactive activity station you can learn about the work done by our Conservation & Research team.
Northern Explorer Station: Learn about polar bears and seals using bio facts.
Button Station: For a small donation, take home a pre-made northern species button, or make your own!
Craft Station: Get crafty using recycled materials.
