Bluegrass is a toe-tappin’ and inclusive style of music for vocalists and acoustic string players. This series of workshops will introduce the form and variety of bluegrass music. Participation and fun encouraged!
Topics covered will include:
-structure of a variety of bluegrass tunes
-learning a bluegrass tune
-vocal harmony singing in bluegrass
-ensemble playing
NOTE: Instrumentalists wanting to participate should be able to play major chords on their instruments, as well as be comfortable moving from one chord position to another fluidly at a moderate tempo.
