The Sum of the Parts is an exciting concert of new chamber music composed and performed by Ari Hooker, including his Violin Sonata, Viola Sonata, Cello Sonata, and Piano Quartet. The concept behind the concert is to "build" a piano quartet instrument by instrument, starting with the violin, then the viola, and finally the cello. On this concert Ari will be joined by three exceptional young Canadian musicians: violinist Jeanny Jung (based in Toronto), violist Christoph Chung (based in New York City), and cellist Sarah Cupit (based in London, ON). Located at the University of Manitoba's beautiful new Desautels Concert Hall, it is sure to be an inspiring event you won't want to miss.
