On Thursday night, May 15, for one night only, our annual “Mozart and More!” concert will close the 37th WCMS season.
“Mozart and More!” features Winnipeg’s well-known classical music family – the JAGD Quartet who will perform for the first time at the acoustically perfect Desautels Concert Hall, with the stellar Yamaha 2022 CFX 9 Foot Grand, 150 Dafoe Road, University of Manitoba.
WCMS "Mozart and More!" program for May 15 features three classical works:
WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART
— Quartet in D major, K575 for two violins, viola and cello
GEORGE ROCHBERG
— Ricordanza for cello and piano
ANTONIN DVOŘÁK
— Quartet in E flat major, op. 87 for violin, viola, cello and piano
