Stephanie Phetsamay Stobbe is a professor in Conflict Resolution Studies and Business at Canadian Mennonite University. She is a leading expert on Southeast Asian dispute resolution processes and has conducted conflict resolution and peacebuilding workshops around the world, including in Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand, with political leaders, NGOs, and civil societies. Violinist Karl Stobbe, Associate Concertmaster of Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Concertmaster of Manitoba Chamber Orchestra, will join Stephanie to perform a piece by Canadian composer Vivian Fung, whose family are survivors of the Cambodian genocide.
