Samuel Coleridge-Taylor was a composer of African heritage who rose to prominence in 19th century Britain and whose influence stretched over the Atlantic to inspire Black people in the United States. Next year (2025) is the 150th anniversary of his birth, and in anticipation of Chamber Orchestra MUSAIC's tribute concert, Artistic Director Larry Strachan will explore his incredible life and music.
