Details
Have you spotted the dozens of lions and other mammals—and reptiles, birds and fish—dwelling atop Winnipeg’s downtown buildings? In this approximate 2.5 km, 90 min. walking safari, we consider what’s lurking up there and why. Binoculars will be available, but bring your own if you have them. Shooting of animals prohibited, unless it’s with your camera.

The tour (open to all ages) will be led by historian and writer Gail Perry. Registration free but required at: tours@winnipegarchitecture.ca

The Winnipeg Architecture Foundation's 2024 programming has been made possible with support from the Manitoba Association of Architects, the City of Winnipeg and the Province of Manitoba.

Location

Streetcar Sculpture Plaza - Pantages Theatre, 180 Market Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba
