SOLAS:Vespers is a Christian worshipping community committed to glorifying God and proclaiming the Gospel through worship, word and arts. Every SOLAS:Vespers service will include congregational singing drawn from a variety of Christian traditions, but primarily from the Protestant Reformation and the worship expressions that flowed from it. The sevices will also feature a sermon by Yuri Hooker.
This Advent themed SOLAS:Vespers event will explore the meaning of SOLA FIDE (By Faith Alone). Special guest vocalist: Erin Propp! Also, the Voices of SOLAS will sing Bach's motet: "Come, Jesus, Come" and SOLAS Strings will play Corelli's Christmas Concerto. Free of charge. Coffee and Q&A to follow.
