Winnipeg Wind Ensemble's second concert of the 2022-2023 Season features "Stories in Sound" a concert featuring numerous pieces which, on purpose or not, depict many exciting stories! From musical scenes of literary works such as Dante's Algheri's "Divine Comedy" and Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in The Willows" to a wonderful musical tableau vivant (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tableau_vivant) by Winnipeg-based composer Chris Byman, come join us as we celebrate the wonderful connections music can foster with storytelling!
