Have you ever had trouble tapping along to your favourite tune? Or found yourself struggling when having to play offbeats? If so, then join MCMA’s drum kit and percussion instructor Caroline Bucher as she helps you gain control over time and rhythm. In this moderately-paced class, topics start from counting and coordination through body percussion, then ramp up to include odd time signatures, rhythm writing conventions and even polyrhythms. If you’re looking to improve your rhythmic fluency for personal enrichment or perhaps you have an audition or music exam to prepare for, this class is for you!
